Bask

To lean your head back, close your eyes and immerse yourself in sunlight.

To bask.

To breathe in nature, to absorb the absurd, to be.

Bask a little while.

I walk out my front door, feel the air run over my skin and am reminded that summer is almost here.

Bask a little.

I walk to the shops and smell the rosemary growing outside the butcher, I sneak a little sideways look and break off a piece to smell all the way home.

Bask with me.

To sit on the old wooden stairs that climb creakily down to our seaweed laden beach, to sip tea and feel the sand itching.

Basking.

Lift your head high, allow the worries of the week to slide and bask a little.

Basking could change everything.

Let that smile grow.
