Finding Neverland

finding neverlandNeverland is a place that is often criticised, always misunderstood but has a power that is undeniable.

The look on a persons face as they drift off there on the train, the moment of recognition when a child realises anything is possible in their make believe place, it is more commonly know as our imagination.

Our minds are powerful things.

We have the potential to think about lovely, world changing, revolutionary, kind things or we cant be drawn into dark places.

Philippians 4:8 puts it this way;
8-9 Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.

In my first book Capture 30 days chapter 2 (day 2) takes you on the journey of imagination, that I discovered through the film finding neverland.

I wrote ‘To live an inspired life, I believe the language of your heart needs to be free to explore your imprisoned dreams’ Amanda Viviers, Capture 30 days of inspiration

What is it that holds our dreams captive?

I believe it is our minds. What we think about, what we imagine, how we use the power of imagination for the potential in our lives or the past.

Often I find people who are purposeless and stuck in the past, I believe the power of imagining a better day is powerful.

The power of thinking better thoughts and the power of doing rather than living with regret, is all unlocked in the power of our imagination.

What is it that you desire to do?

Start imagining it.

Have a inspired day

Amanda
