Description

write club.

Imagine a space where writing feels like rest, not pressure. That is Write Club. We gather from all corners of the world, held together by a shared belief: that everyone carries a story worth telling, and that the practice of writing can heal, restore, and reconnect us to ourselves.

This session unfolds gently, in three simple movements.

We begin with creative meditation. Before a single word touches the page, we settle. We breathe. We quieten the noise of the day and make room for something deeper to rise. This is where you soften the inner critic and open your heart to what wants to be written.

Your host Amanda Viviers: Australian author, retreat facilitator and writing coach.

Amanda has curated a unique and beautiful experience – a safe space to sit quietly and write freely. The music in the background is also beautiful. Thank you, Amanda. Write Club is such a gift.”

The write club has been an incredible opportunity to slow down and be intentional to write. As someone who wouldn’t call myself a writer, I’ve loved learning to use the words I write to help me heal, reflect and encourage. The prompts are always helpful, and Amanda is so kind and encouraging. I’ve met some lovely people on the journey. Thankful for this space.

I love to write. It’s a practice that brings a sense of calm, focus and perspective. Yet, like many things we value, it can easily be pushed aside amidst the busyness of everyday life.
Having a dedicated space to be intentional about writing—to gift myself that hour each week—has been incredibly restorative. Prioritising it on a Sunday provides a meaningful reset and creates the perfect foundation for the week ahead.
Amanda has a remarkable ability to create an environment that is both welcoming and purposeful. The thoughtfully curated playlists, reflective writing prompts and opportunities to set personal intentions make each session a truly enriching experience.
I highly recommend these sessions to anyone looking to reconnect with their creativity, reflection or simply themselves. I’m deeply grateful to Amanda for creating and sharing such a special space.

Write Club came along for me at the perfect time. I found myself unexpectedly in a season of transition, and was looking for a place to process my thoughts, meet new people and explore my love of writing, but where to begin? Enter the Write Club! Amanda has created the most beautiful environment. A safe space, judgement free and no pressure.
If you’re looking for a place to be gently guided in your creativity and meet some lovely new people then Write Club is for you.

‘There is something about putting pen to paper that allows what is unseen to come alive.

Amanda’s Write Club creates the quiet space to listen, reflect, and write — evoking a sense of feeling and emotion that grants access to parts of yourself that may have been hidden for many seasons. She brings warmth, care, and genuine encouragement to explore places in your mind you may not have visited in a long time, and giving those thoughts life is profoundly healing.

Amanda prompts with God-led intention, and what follows is revelation, connection, and conversation that feels truly your own. What is written in that short hour carries a positive ripple effect into the days and week ahead, bringing a new sense of intention and focus to how you move through life.

In a fast-paced world, writing slows the noise, connects the dots, and reminds us of what matters most.’

I have written more in an hour of Write Club than I have for years! Thank you, Amanda, for creating a safe, slow and quiet space to gather and write in community. The way you guide us through short journal prompts and calming meditations helps me become aware of the present moment and hear my own voice above the busyness. It’s exactly what I needed to reclaim my joy for writing and rebuild a regular journalling rhythm. An hour of Write Club truly is beautiful, healing and restorative.
