Johann Kim, started his creative business explosion as a jewelry designer, firstly opening a concept store in Perth, 2007. The one-stop fashion and gift store went from being a one man operation to a family of over 50 staff, that he fondly calls his pigeons. He now owns and manages 7 stores across Australia; Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and in Korea, as well as his online offering www.pigeonhole.com

Pigeonhole is filled with goods that any respectable bird would see fit to collect; polaroids, terrariums, analogue cameras, bounded books, vintage threads, brooches, wallets and plenty more fun trinkets to unearth. Inspiration lurks in every Pigeonhole shop. He recently opened a menswear outlet called Fox and Hunt, and every one has a unique flavor with different offerings housed in a small space befitting its name. Pigeonhole is a treasure trove of cool, creative and well-designed objects that are sure to bring joy to the soul.

Their philosophy is to be an open and creative community of people who love what they do, who push the boundaries creatively to always present something new and interesting to Australian shores.

whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable if anything is excellent or praiseworthy think about such things.

Our minds are so powerful. This scripture from Philippians in the bible implores us to fill our minds with thoughts that are good.

How often are we drawn to the negative though?

How often do we think about the worst case scenario rather than the best?

How often do we worry and think about all the things that could go wrong, rather than what could go right?

Positive thinking is not just a self help, new age trend, it has been around for thousands of years.

The differences between new age thinking and that of the bible however, is that new ageism implores us to empty our minds however scripture tells us to fill our minds with goodness.

Think on loveliness.

Think on what has gone right in your life rather than what is about to go wrong.

The reason why emptying our minds doesn’t work is because our minds are more powerful than any computer ever made.

To override the system operating our brains, we need to fight the original programming with new and more powerful content.

Ever tried to stop thinking about something?

Ever felt so overwhelmed at the strength of your mind?

It is impossible to think about nothing, if you are thinking about nothing you are still thinking about something.

So why not reprogram?

Reprogram with pure, noble, good, inspiring, commanding, helpful, loving, decent, brilliant, encouraging thoughts.

Renew

Your pack

Everyone longs to run with a pack.

We were created to do life as a community.

Wolves run in packs and so do healthy creatives.

You were not designed to do life alone.

Who is in your pack?

I spent the weekend tucked up inside a chapel.

One which took my breath away.

My husband and I looked at each and every hand made brick, we searched and thought about the massive rafters and we talked endlessly about who made this chapel.

This last weekend it was full of young adults. It created a sacred space for them to meet with God.

We wondered what the people who made the building would have thought if they found themselves transported forward to these precious moments?

The men and women who made the chapel, left a beautiful impression on a generation that is very quick to move into the now, the present, the plastic, the consumable.

This chapel at Fairbridge seriously amazing.

My husband and I could not work out, how possibly in the early 1900’s how they could have lifted the rafters and built this monster of a building without the machines we have today.

The answer is a pack.

A pack of men, banded together and created something overwhelming to the Glory of God.

What are you creating, that future generations will stand in awe of what you have built together?

What are you sacrificing today, so that tomorrow someone can live inspired?
